Where can I leave the car?
The hotel has a large free private car park where you can leave your car
How much does the bus ticket cost to reach the center of Assisi?
The ticket for the single journey costs € 1.30, the frequency of the races is every 30 minutes, the journey takes about 10-15 minutes
Where can I buy the bus ticket?
Inside the Assisi station you will find the newsstand where you can buy tickets for the bus
Which is the nearest bus stop to reach the city center?
The Hotel Moderno due to its strategic position is ideal for all trips with public services, train, bus and taxi available every day in front of the structure
Is the breakfast buffet?
Yes, our hotel offers a rich sweet and savory buffet breakfast. All the sweet products that you will find available such as croissants, pies, muffins, donuts are made by us with fresh and genuine products, also available in a lactose and gluten-free version
Do you have availability of products for celiacs or intolerant people?
Of course, we are ready for all customer needs, we have products for celiacs and lactose intolerant if needed.
On the day of departure, what time should I leave the room?
The room must be vacated by 10 AM to give us the opportunity to better prepare it for the next guest
Do you have availability of a cot?
Yes, we have a cot with a small supplement or bed rails for a single bed at no extra cost.
Are dogs allowed?
Only small dogs are allowed, provided that the dog stays in accordance with the structure rules. An extra charge for cleaning the room is applied, which is €15 for the entire stay.
Is there an elevator in the hotel?
The hotel has a lift to reach the upper floors
What are the meal times?
Breakfast 7:30-09:30. Lunch 12:30-13:30. Dinner 19:30-20:15
How do I get to the Hotel Moderno from the Assisi train station?
Leaving the Assisi station on the left you will immediately find the Hotel Moderno
Is the reception open 24 hours a day?
No, our reception closes around 10 PM, but our guests are provided with the necessary instructions to return independently at any time they wish.
What time can I have the room?
The room is ready from 12:00 but in case the customer arrives earlier in the structure he can leave his luggage in custody at the reception
Is it possible to smoke in the rooms?
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and throughout the property.
How much is the tourist tax? And how can you pay?
A stay tax of €2 per person per day is applied to 3-star hotels in the city of Assisi, from which children up to 11 years of age are exempt. If your stay lasts more than 3 days from the fourth day onwards, it will no longer be necessary to pay the tourist tax. Payment is made directly in the structure and in cash, it cannot be paid by credit card or debit card
Is there a supermarket nearby?
At 200 meters from the hotel there is a well-stocked supermarket open non-stop from 09:00 to 20:00
Do you make dishes for vegetarians or vegans?
Our chefs create dishes for vegetarians, but we do not manage dietary requirements related to vegans.
Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
How often is the linen change?
The toilet linen is changed daily while the sheets are changed according to the length of the stay
